The two applications, and the line between them.
Why they are separate
IAM knows who you are. Finloop knows what you owe. Keeping those in one application would mean a change to a login form could break a ledger, and it would put the token issuer inside the blast radius of every feature.
They share a backend platform library, not a database. Each app owns its own PostgreSQL database; there are no cross-app joins and no shared schema. Apps talk over HTTP or not at all.
